Handmade, small batch, lacto-fermented hotsauce.

This is a naturally fermented chilli sauce that has not been pasteurised or heat treated so as well as being tasty is full of beneficial bacteria.

The fermented chilli and garlic mash is blended with apple cider vinegar that has been soaked in Bourbon Barrel chips to add complexity and depth of flavour. Our Jalapeño hotsauce is on the milder end but what it lacks in heat it makes up for in flavour.

Ingredients: Jalapeño chilli, organic apple cider vinegar, garlic, Himalayan pink salt, xanthan gum*. 

Best kept in the fridge but can be stored at room temperature.

* A tiny amount of Xanthan gum is added to thicken the sauce slightly and also keep it from separating. It is a safe, naturally occurring bacteria produced by fermenting sucrose and glucose.
